I’m a freelance data visualization designer and journalist.
I'm passionate about optimizing data and interactivity to inform readers through engaging stories. I've pursued alternative angles to health and chemicals for NBC News Data/Graphics, as well as manned the data desk solo for the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
Previously, I studied biostatistics at the University of Virginia. After falling in love with data visualization and the process that turns a spreadsheet into a story, I earned my master’s in Media Innovation + Data Communication from Northeastern University.
